Elephant Garlic  (botanically classified as allium ampeloprasum)

Elephant garlic is not a garlic. It is a type of leek. The cloves are milder and sweeter than true garlic. Elephant garlic is know to have the flavor of onions and leeks with soft notes of garlic. Can be sliced and deep fryed to make garlic chips. This will be our first year to grow Elephant Garlic. So we may or may not have any ready for 2024 because it normally takes 2 years to get clove development.
